About Us

Formed in 2012, the Polperro Promotion Group was established with a constitution and objectives to:
⦁ Promote a positive image of the historic village of Polperro
⦁ Enhance residents and visitors experience of Polperro
⦁ Improve the commercial environment for local businesses
⦁ Improve the village environment
The conversion to a Community Interest Company (CIC) in December 2016 was driven by a decision by Cornwall Council to divest or close public toilets in Polperro. Polperro businesses contributed generously to fund the leasing and continuing operation of the Quay toilets that are used by the fishermen, residents and visitors.
The formation of a CIC provides the opportunity to continue with the original objectives and broaden our involvement of the wider community.
